Vinyasa Yoga

A vinyasa yoga class which is accessible to people with any level of yoga experience, including those who have never done yoga before. Poses are carefully selected and sequenced and the use of props (such as blocks and belts) encouraged. I also provide different options for certain poses and transitions so that students can practice at a level that is appropriate for their body. These classes are stronger and have a slightly faster pace than my Gentle Flow classes.

These classes are currently available via my On Demand Class Library where you can also find Dynamic Vinyasa and 30 Minute Flow classes which provide a stronger vinyasa flow practice.

Gentle Flow

Taking a slow and gentle approach to vinyasa yoga, these classes comprise carefully crafted sequences of poses and encourage mindfulness and relaxation. Props, such as blocks, blankets, belts and bolsters may be used to allow students to find comfort in poses. Elements of Restorative Yoga (see below) may also be woven into these classes. They are suitable for everyone, including beginners.

Pose by Pose

These classes are great for beginners and those seeking to deepen their physical yoga practice alike. In these classes we take things slowly, allowing time to take a deeper look at the alignment in and variations of key yoga poses. We’ll also explore common transitions into and out of poses and how best to use props to make poses feel good for you. These classes enable you to build confidence in your practice and knowledge of how to make yoga work for your body. They are a great foundation for my flow-based classes (listed above).

These classes are currently only available via my On Demand Class Library.

Restorative Yoga

These classes are all about rest, relaxation and recuperation and are perfect if you’re feeling tired, run down or stressed. When in a pose, the body is ‘held’ by props such as bolsters, blankets and blocks to allow the muscles and mind to relax and let go. Poses are typically held for 2-5 minutes with slow, mindful transitions in between. No yoga experience is necessary for these classes.
